We hosted a special assembly to say goodbye to Mr Forker and wish him the very best of luck for the future.
The pupils were all delighted to see Mr Forker and we started our assembly with a wonderful performance of ‘Back to the Orchard’ by Leroy Owens. This was followed with a short video to celebrate Mr Forker and the massive contribution which he made to our school…. Memories we will have forever!!
Pupils from each class presented Mr Forker with class cards and Mrs Mackle and Mrs White presented a card, gift and flowers from the staff. We had our traditional ‘Happy Birthday’ wishes which was followed by a brilliant rendition of ‘Bring Sam Home’ by our amazing pupils. Mr Forker thanked everyone for their kindness and the wonderful three years he enjoyed in Our Lady’s.
Mr Forker shared a special break with staff and visited all the classes before saying his final goodbyes.
