The P3/4 classes have been studying minibeasts as part of their World Around Us topic. The children took part in an exciting outdoor investigation around the school grounds, searching for and identifying different minibeasts in their natural habitats. Using magnifying glasses and observation sheets, they explored areas such as the garden, grass, logs and flower beds to discover creatures including worms 🪱, spiders 🕷️, wood lice , snails 🐌 and beetles 🪲
The children showed great enthusiasm and curiosity as they carefully observed the minibeasts and discussed where they were found. Through this hands on learning experience, the children developed their investigation skills, teamwork and understanding of the natural world around them.
