🪲🪰🪳Today Primary 3/4 have been working hard building Minibeast hotels in collaboration with O’Connells GAC Green Club, who are part of the Ulster GAA supporting Nature Project. The informative session lead by Oisín and Donal, helped the children design and construct three Minibeast hotels to enhance biodiversity and sustainability of our GAA grounds, in which the children use daily for sport within the community.
The children showed great enthusiasm and engineering capabilities through this outdoor learning experience which allowed them to identify the importance of supporting our local wildlife in their natural habitats. 🕷️🐛🦋
