A huge well done to our boys’ Gaelic football team who competed in the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Medium Schools' Malachy McGeeney Final at the Box-It Athletic Grounds on Friday, 2nd May.
The team delivered a fantastic performance in a highly competitive match against St. Patrick’s, Cullyhanna. The first half was incredibly close, with both sides exchanging points and only a single point separating the teams at half-time. Our boys made a strong start to the second half, quickly levelling the game. However, Cullyhanna showed impressive accuracy and gradually pulled ahead into a winning position.
Despite the result, our players demonstrated outstanding effort, teamwork, and determination throughout the match. Every player contributed in the second half, adding to our score and showing great spirit against a very strong Cullyhanna side.
We extend our congratulations to St. Patrick’s, Cullyhanna on their well-deserved victory, and we are immensely proud of our team for reaching the final and representing our school with such pride and commitment.
