Miss Duffy led our second ‘Roots of Empathy’ session on Tuesday morning. We were delighted to welcome baby Dan and his mummy, Niamh, to P5. We considered our predictions from last week of what we thought baby Dan was able to do. Niamh talked to us about some of the things he can do now and we watched baby Dan on the mat. Niamh told us that when Dan was born, he was 50cm long. Faith and Olive helped Miss Duffy to measure Dan’s length. He is now 64cm long. That is a lot of growing in 4months! Niamh brought along one of Dan’s favourite toys. He is such a happy baby. 🥰 We look forward to seeing him again in a few weeks.
