This week for Anti-Bullying Week, we read a powerful extract from Can you see me? by Libby Scott and Rebecca Westcott. The story helped us think about how important it is to be kind, include others, and understand that everyone is unique in their own way.
After reading, we talked about how we can show kindness, empathy and inclusion everyday. Then we each made a Superhero speech bubble, writing lovely things about our friends and their best qualities before swapping them over. It was wonderful to see so many kind and thoughtful messages shared! To finish, everyone chose a book to take home, encouraging them to keep reading and reflecting on the power of kindness.
