During the final week of Book Club, the children enjoyed reading a selection of lovely Christmas stories aloud, bringing plenty of festive cheer to our sessions. Over the weeks, we were delighted to welcome some new faces, and it was wonderful to see new friendships forming and the children growing in confidence as they shared their reading with others. To finish the term, the children wrote their own creative Christmas stories and completed a short book review. Two winners were chosen for their fantastic effort and imagination, and every child received a Christmas bookmark and a candy cane as a special end of Book Club treat. This was our last Book Club session until after the Christmas holidays, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back in the New Year.
