At our final book club session, we celebrated Matilda by sharing acrostic poems inspired by one of our extracts. Two winners were chosen for their thoughtful and expressive performances, which showed real confidence and creativity. We ended the session with a party to mark all the hard work everyone has put in this term, and each child received a certificate recognising what they brought to book club. It was a lovely way to finish and a great reminder of how much they’ve grown as readers.📚🥳🥳
