P2 have been enjoying learning all about plants and butterflies as part of World Around Us. A big thank you to Shabby Duck Gift Shop and Harvey’s Trees and Shrubs for their generous donation of plants and seeds. The children loved planting and caring for them while learning about what plants need to grow. They have also been learning about the life cycle of a butterfly. We watched our caterpillars grow and transform into beautiful butterflies in our classroom before releasing them into the outdoors. It has been a wonderful experience for everyone! 🌱🦋🌼
