On Monday 27th April, Primary 5 went to St Patrick’s Cathedral, Armagh, to participate in the ‘Cathedral Choir Singing Project’ with other P5 classes from the parish. This was a truly special occasion. The children had been learning and practising a range of sacred and secular songs over the past few months under the expert teaching of Orla Nugent and Sara-Jane Kelly. Each week, the P5 children participated enthusiastically, learning new songs and finding out about musical terminology. 🎶 The prayer service celebration had the theme of ‘faith’. Archbishop Eamon Martin spoke to the children about Saint Patrick, our patron Saint, who brought the message of faith to Ireland ☘️. He also spoke about our Baptism, when our parents brought us to the church to begin our faith journey. Well done to Frankie and Sadie who read their prayers of the faithful so well.
