P5 have been very busy working on ‘measures’ at Numeracy time. They estimated various measurements and then worked in pairs and in groups of 4, to measure as accurately as possible, in centimetres and in metres. They used rulers, metre sticks, trundle wheels and measuring tapes. They finished with an investigation “how long is a tube of toothpaste?” 🦷
