P7 STEM Day: Investigate Renewable Energy with Sentinus
The Primary 7 children were busy investigating renewable energy today with James from Sentinus. They investigated wind power by making a windmill and checking to see how strong the wind was using a volt meter. They also had the opportunity to make an electric car. They enjoyed testing it out on different surfaces and using different gradients. The final activity of the day involved testing solar panels. The children were amazed at the effects daylight had on the solar panels.
