Reception and Primary 1 investigated how ice melts. They were given the opportunity to look at the animals trapped in the ice and describe what it looked and felt like. We created a list of adjectives to describe what the ice looked and felt like. The children were able to brainstorm some ideas on how to ‘free’ the animals trapped in the ice. They were very excited to free the arctic animals from the ice!
