The children were immersed into ‘The Gingerbread Man’ story. We enjoyed reading the story about the Gingerbread Man and made our own Gingerbread people by following the recipe in our book. The children had great fun pouring, mixing, stirring, rolling and cutting. They decorated their gingerbread people with icing. While they were baking, we designed and decorated our own gingerbread people. We were eagerly watching the oven to make sure none of them escaped!
