P2 from Our Lady’s PS and P2 & P3 from Killylea PS came together for a wonderful morning to celebrate the end of the Shared Education journey this year. It was lovely to see the friendships blossoming throughout the programme, from the very beginning connections were built. Our focus this year was on the familiar fairytales of Jack and the Beanstalk, Thumbelina and The Smartest Giant in Town. We brought the stories to life through role play, writing letters to the giant, designing outfits for Thumbelina, planting our own beanstalks and making crowns with natural materials we gathered outside 🍂 🍃. We ended with a trip to Slieve Gullion to see if we could spot any magical creatures in the Giant’s Lair. Thank you to all of the staff involved, Shared Education wouldn’t happen without your help 🤩
